We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
3.1 With Other Users. Certain information, such as your username, profile photo, check-ins, ratings, and reviews, may be visible to other App users based on your privacy settings. You can control the visibility of your activity through your account settings.
3.2 Service Providers. We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes we specify.
3.3 Advertising Partners. We may share certain non-personally identifiable information or device-level identifiers with advertising partners to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

3.6 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change and any choices you may have regarding your information.
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. We may also retain information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for legitimate business purposes such as analytics and fraud prevention.
When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Certain data, such as de-identified or aggregated analytics data, may be retained indefinitely.
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure server infrastructure, access controls, and regular security assessments.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
6.1 Access and Portability. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@brewtanica.com. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law (typically within 30 to 45 days).
In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, we will request your permission before tracking your activity across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes. You can change your tracking preferences at any time in your iOS device Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
If you deny tracking permission, we will not use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising. You will still see ads in the App, but they may be less relevant to your interests.
In compliance with Google Play's Data Safety requirements, we disclose the following:
The App is not intended for individuals under the legal drinking age (21 in the United States). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
