Torchy Brown is a dark Grodziskie (smoked wheat ale) conditioned on peaches. It is a homage to the first Black female nationally syndicated cartoonist, Jackie Ormes & her iconic comic character, Torchy Brown. Torchy first appeared in the Pittsburgh Courier in the 1937-38 comic strip Dixie to Harlem. Like Torchy, our beer is sublime yet subtle, a little smokey, and all good!
