Arcana

Arcana is a Czech style dark lager from Eredita Beer in North Haven, Connecticut. At 5% ABV, this lager sits in the approachable middle ground of the style, balancing the darker malt character typical of Czech dark lagers with restrained alcohol warmth. Czech dark lagers are traditionally built on a foundation of complex malts that yield subtle depth without heaviness, a profile that rewards close attention from beer lovers curious about Old World lager craft. Eredita Beer's interpretation of this Central European tradition offers a window into how dark lager brewers work within established parameters of the style while bringing their own sensibility to the category.
